Jessica Gonzalez is a project manager with a Bachelor’s degree in Technologies Management. Currently, she serves as the Director of the Galapagos Program for Animal Balance, where she oversees initiatives aimed at improving animal welfare and promoting conservation. Her expertise lies in management, administration, and strategic planning, making her a key figure in executing impactful programs that address the unique challenges of the Galapagos Islands. Fully bilingual, Jessica combines her organizational skills and cross-cultural communication abilities to lead collaborative efforts with local and international stakeholders.
Born and raised in Cuenca, Ecuador, Jessica’s journey into animal welfare began in 2003 as a volunteer at local organizations in her hometown. This early involvement, paired with the inspiration gained from meeting leaders in the field, shaped her career path. A passionate advocate for community engagement, she has dedicated herself to creating sustainable solutions for animal welfare. Outside of her professional life, Jessica enjoys reading and exploring spirituality, which fuel her thoughtful and compassionate approach to her work
